Here are some maps and directions for getting to important BOB locations by car.
1. Orinda BART Station and Community Park
Take highway 24 East from Oakland or West from Walnut Creek. Take the main Orinda exit, North on Camino Diablo. Just past the BART station turn East onto Santa Maria, then immediately turn North onto Orinda Way. The Community Park is on the right one block North. There is short-term parking there for dropping off supplies or people, but for longer parking go back to the BART station and park there (the East parking lot is best) and take the pedestrian bridges and paths back to the park. The city will be enforcing that there is no event parking right by the park.

2. Fremont BART Station and Sweet Tomatoes Restaurant
From Walnut Creek or the Tri-Valley take 680 South past Pleasanton, past Sunol, and over the hill. Take the highway 238 / Mission Blvd. exit heading North. At about three miles turn left onto Walnut Ave. Go about 1.5 miles West and turn into the restaurant parking lot on the right (just before the Paseo Padre intersection). The main door into Sweet Tomatoes is there on your right.
From Oakland and points South take 880 South and take the Fremont Blvd. exit. Go South on Fremont about 4 1/2 miles. When you reach Walnut Ave. turn left and go one long block. At Paseo Padre Pky turn left then immediately turn into the parking lot on the right. The main door into Sweet Tomatoes is there on your right.

There are two main ways to get to Canyon by car - and neither is easy.
One way is to take the freeways to Orinda, then go South on Moraga Way
to Moraga, then West on Canyon Road. At the stop sign (T-intersection
with Pinehurst Road), turn right onto Pinehurst Road. The school is about
1.5 miles, on the right. The other way is to get onto highway 13 from
either highway 24 or highway 580 and head to Montclair. Take the Park
Street exit and turn North on Mountain Blvd. then East onto Shepard Canyon.
Take Shepard Canyon all the way up to Skyline, then continue across Skyline
and down the steep winding Pinehurst Road. This is a much hillier and
slower way to go, but is an alternative route if you are coming from
Oakland or points South of there.
Take highway 580 East from Castro Valley or West from Pleasanton to the Eden Canyon exit. Turn South onto Palos Verde Road. Continue South and West about 1/2 mile. Immediately past the intersection with Palomares Road, on the left is the hidden driveway into the parking lot for Palomares School. Park in the lot outside the gate, and walk across the little bridge to the school.
Take highway 680 North from Fremont or South from Pleasanton, and take the Paloma Way / Calaveras Rd. exit. Go West on Paloma to the stop sign. Bear left then immediately turn right onto Main Street. Turn right onto Kilkare Rd. (at the train station) then immediately into the parking lot on the right.
From highway 680 in Fremont take the highway 237 exit (E. Calaveras Blvd.) East. After 3/4 mile, at the stop sign at Piedmont Rd - Evans Rd.
7. Orinda to Sunol Community Park
Take highway 24 East, turn South on highway 680 at Walnut Creek interchange. Continue on 680 South all the way past Pleasanton and take the highway 84 / Paloma Way / Calaveras Rd. exit. Go West on Paloma to the stop sign. Bear left then immediately turn right onto Main Street. Turn right onto Kilkare Rd. (at the train station) then immediately into the parking lot on the right.
8. Orinda to Sweet Tomatoes Restaurant
While other routes may be slightly shorter, this is the easiest route. Take highway 24 East, turn South on highway 680 at Walnut Creek interchange. Continue on 680 South all the way past Pleasanton, past Sunol, and over the hill. Take the highway 238 / Mission Blvd. exit heading North. At about three miles turn left onto Walnut Ave. Go about 1.5 miles West and turn into the restaurant parking lot on the right (just before the Paseo Padre intersection). The main door into Sweet Tomatoes is there on your right.
9. Mt. Olive Church to Sweet Tomatoes Restaurant
Go West on Calaveras Rd. until you reach highway 680 - take 680 North for about 10 miles and take the Washington exit. Take Washington East a very short distance and turn left onto Paseo Padre Pky. Stay on Paseo Padre about 2.5 miles. At the intersection with Walnut Ave. go across and turn into the first driveway on the right. The main door into Sweet Tomatoes is there on your right.
